Our brother in music, Detroit native, and Beaty Boy Records label boss, Steve Crawford, has released Revisions 2 – a musical offering of remixes, edits, and newly arranged grooves we Detroiters grew up holding near and dear to our hearts and in any DJ worth his weight in salt’s record collection.

Some immediate favorite mentions include a remix and a reworked dub of The O’jays “I Love Music”, a deep remix of the already deep Strictly Rhythms’ “The Warning”, a heavy bassline, soaring strings, and a lovely wash on a remix of Earth Wind & Fires’ “Boogie Wonderland”. A very nice modern retouch on John Rocca’s “I want It To Be Real” called “To Be Real” And lastly a remix of Tom Browns ” Jamaica Funk” closes out the aptly arranged 13 track album.

If you like your house deep, funky, and laced with revisions of days of old, this is the piece you wanna grab. https://stevecrawford.bandcamp.com/album/revisions-2
